Wow, I am behind with this. Let’s see. I guess I will do a précis summary. Friday night, I attended karate class and was honored to receive my green belt which is a tad too long. Saturday, I braved the below freezing temperatures and extreme fear to go cross country skiing with my friend/coworker up north. I received many admiring glances from a pack of defrosting males in the warming hut. Sunday, braved cold temperatures again to go walking with coworker and her father who tells scintillating stories. At home again, I made some multigrain bagels which are quite good.

Yeah, I’m not so good at the précis writing thing. Well, I can be when I want to be, but I don’t feel like it. On Monday, I went out to lunch with my coworkers and spent the rest of the day doubled over in abdominal pain. I went home to get in the fetal position in my bed and watch Oprah. It was all about gastric bypasses and that guy who is a judge on American Idol and says dog all the time and I think was one of the original VJ’s on MTV was on telling about his puking and diarrhea problems since his gastric bypass. Maybe I was feeling his pain.

Yesterday was pretty boring. I did have a good time at kickboxing—there was finally someone to be silly with. I also got an email back from the guy my boss told me to email. He had excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation (he even used parentheses). He suggested getting together for coffee. I think yes.

Well, I can’t think of much else. I have to go up north on diaper patrol.
