2004-01-07 @ 2:33 p.m. The universe does not respond to desperation. The universe does not respond to desperation. The universe does not respond to desperation. The universe does not respond to desperation. Yes, this is my mantra until I decide to change it. Sorry if it made you start thinking of Jack Nicholson in the original Shining. I started to think of that. The line between mantra and insane obsessive repetition may be pretty fine. I’ve learned some cool stuff about drugs. I printed out the alphabetized list of on the top 200 drugs prescribed in and learned much from the many links. I learned what an ACE Inhibitor is, how it works and that the generic names all end in –pril. I am going to set loose an application blitz on the pharmaceutical world within the next week I am thinking. I need a haircut. The air is so cold and dry that my poor hair has gone flat and lifeless. I wish my hair weren’t so moody. I wish the same thing for myself. So, I failed to report that Nigel, wife and kids were visiting over the weekend. That was weird. I had many long chats with the wife and she told me of how she hoped that she and Nigel had matured from their troubles over the past several months. Miss Kitty suggested that Nigel could fix my sore shoulder as he is studying to be a doctor of osteopathic medicine and they are trained to do spinal manipulations. I agreed because I was in pain and I thought it would seem strange to his wife if I didn’t. Later, Nigel was deep frying snacks in the dark kitchen. I found that pretty strange, but I didn’t really think a whole lot about it. Miss Kitty told me the next day that he was getting drunk in the kitchen and didn’t want his wife to know. I see a problem brewing there, but it is well beyond my limited powers. Well, I can’t think of much else to report. Love to all. Images from emode.com's inkblot test.
