I have a giant tumescent zit on the bridge of my nose. I told Julio about it and he tried to cheer me up by saying that it might just be my third eye growing in. It’s one of those deep nasty ones, but I think it might actually come to a head and be purged from my face. I really can’t stand those stubborn ones that last forever. When I was in college, I had one that stayed for months until the dermatologist shot some cortisone into it. The relief of getting one of those suckers to give up is hard to describe. That’s just one more sick connection that Maddy and I share.

I had one of the most unpleasant ungrateful diaper clients today. I seriously would have like to have smacked her. She talked to me like she was entitled to everything she asked for whether it was something we typically offer or not. We do our best to accommodate needs, but it’s the end of the year and our funding is just about exhausted and I am not gonna freaking bow down to some woman who sits on her educated ass while her husband pulls in 50G and they still can’t make ends meet. Get a freaking job!

So while I was on the phone with my sister the other day, she was telling me how I could get a decent house in Albuquerque and then if I needed something larger when I got married, I could just sell it or rent it or something. I told her that I wasn’t counting on getting married and that I hoped to become a drug rep so I could at least be rich because rich and alone is much better than poor and alone. I don’t know if she saw the humor in it.
