gargantuan asses
2003-11-04 @ 4:11 p.m.

So, it’s over 70 freaking degrees here today and I feel like a heretic for complaining, but the weird weather makes my allergies flare up a bit and I don’t really like that. Otherwise, I guess it’s beautiful and I should appreciate it because it will be over tomorrow.

The preparations for my trip to meet Julio in a scant three days are underway. I need to do a little laundry, wash my car, and pack. I think we might go ghost hunting and Amish stalking, but we don’t have much of anything planned. I hope we have some decent weather for exploring and that there is a good Thai restaurant near where we are staying. I hope that we get along in person as well as we do on the phone and a bunch of other stuff that I am too demure to write about in here.

So, I have been thinking about the drug rep thing. I’m fairly certain that I want to try it. I’ve been thinking about where I could go and where I would want to go if I did get it. Oh, I get ahead of myself. First things, first.

So, I keep thinking about this marital arts documentary I had to watch in class the other night. One portion of it was on sumo wrestling. I had never really considered that it was a martial art. I had a great deal of difficulty not laughing about it. Just watching big fat guys wearing not enough to cover their gargantuan asses and slamming into one another just brings out the five year old in me. I wonder if they have a lot of internal injuries from all that slamming.

Love to all.
