tooth brushing regimen

Yesterday, I picked up my layaway at Wal Mart—a Sonicare toothbrush, two bras and four pairs of underwear. The bras are good ones for winter as they have a bit of padding that doesn’t allow for protruding nipples to destroy a reputation (unless that happens to be your reputation). I am in a dilemma with the underwear. I am starting to dig some of the low waist shorts and pants, but I am at heart a high cut briefs girl and those tend to show above the waist of my low waist pants. I bought two pair of satiny high cut briefs which are very comfortable. I also bought two pair of low waist deals guaranteed not to show panty lines. I don’t know. I guess I will get used to it, but it just feels like my underwear is falling off.

So as for the Sonicare—it’s very vibratey. Putting something so vibratey in my mouth scares me a little. God help me if I ever catch my lip with that thing. The Sonicare is also very regimented. It has timers that go off every thirty seconds to tell you to change quadrants and then it just plain shuts off after 2 minutes. I now realize how willy nilly I was about my tooth brushing regimen prior to the Sonicare. I have seen the light. Teeth must be brushed in an organized fashion. Miss Kitty also has a Sonicare (I think Maddy does too) and she was excited to point out how the little light that comes on while my toothbrush is charging can double as a night light.

While I was at the gym last night, I got asked out. Okay, so it was a woman who works at the gym who asked me to join her and some friends to go out for a drink on Wednesday night, but hey, that’s definitely more social than sitting around in my flannel pajamas watching television.

On my way out of the gym, I ran into a woman I met when I first started going to the gym about three years ago. She didn’t quite recognize me because of the weight I’ve lost. Then I ran into Dr. Frenchfry and caught him checking me over. Actually, I have caught him doing that a few times lately.

oKay, so now I am going to gripe about my boss for a paragraph. This morning I walked in and she said hello and stared at me for a moment before telling me that I was wearing the same sweater only in a different color. She seemed a little irritated by that. Then she asked me for my mileage report. I had only taken one trip this month, but I hadn’t put in the amount of miles traveled yet. She has signed plenty of blank ones for me in the past, but today she insisted that I write the number in. Then she asked me for all of the places I would be driving this month and I listed four trips I knew I would be taking. Then she told me that I had forgotten about some meeting that she had asked me to attend and I told her that she hadn’t asked me to attend any meetings. Okay, so I think she wanted to know about my trips because the travel budget for this year is getting close to being used up, but I wanted to scream and tell her that she is the one causing that. She travels close to 3,000 miles a month and gets mileage checks that are close to one of my twice monthly paychecks. AAAARRRGGG!!!! She apologized about the meeting. I need out of here.

Love to all.
