so much space poop
2003-09-26 @ 1:46 p.m.

So, I actually wrote an entry yesterday, but I think my internet company was having some difficulty with the server or something because I couldn’t stay connected. Now the entry doesn’t seem appropriate. I wrote something about how our galaxy is cannibalizing its neighbor—Sagittarius. I’m not exactly sure how that impacts my life at all, but it was definitely something to ponder. Does that mean our galaxy gets bigger? Does the other galaxy get digested and become so much space poop? I don’t know.

Robert Palmer died today. I guess that doesn’t really impact my life either. I liked some of his music and he was definitely an icon of my youth. A lot of those icons have died. Jim Henson and Mr. Rogers were definitely staples of my early childhood television viewing. I remember watching Three’s Company as a small child. I don’t think I understood most of the humor, but I thought John Ritter was cute. I remember Johnny Cash on Sesame Street. I guess I could go on with the Maytag repair guy and how he was on WKRP or Bob Hope, but I won’t because I’m still thinking about space poop.

We can now clone a rat. I guess this is just in case we have a shortage or find a talking rat or something. The do not call registry is threatened. I think that there have got to be better ways to create jobs and generate sales than irritating the crap out of people. There was a bunch of serious stuff that happened like a fire in a nursing home and an earthquake in Japan that I don’t feel comfortable making sarcastic remarks about.

In my life today—I went to the chiropractor who still has the cute Thad working with him. Thad smiles a lot. I like to think that it’s because I’m there, but maybe he has gas or something. I can’t find my sunglasses. My belt test is tonight and I don’t feel nervous at all. Despite the lack of evidence provided by this entry, I’m feeling a bit smarter or more clear headed or something with the healthy food. I guess that’s it for now.

Love to all.
